Every year me and my family try to plan a holiday abroad but with lockdown guidelines thats a no go for this year. Safety always comes first so we will plan an epic one for next year. As there is no holiday planned I started to look back at previous holidays I have been on. I have been lucky enough to travel to so many beautiful places so I thought I would share with you one of my favourites.

My number One choice and the most beautiful place I have been to, has got to be Montenegro. If you don't know where this is its next door to Croatia and it is also home to many flamingos. Before we drove down to montenergo we first spend a couple of nights in the fancincating city of Dubrovnik (which is in Croatia). Also to any game of throne fans, quite a few scenes are shot there. I definitely recommend staying there for a few nights as the atmosphere was amazing. After spending the first two nights there we drove to Montenegro. The main route across the border was said to be very busy so we took an aternavative route through Bosnia, and WOW. Driving through Bosnia almost felt like a dream it was that beautiful. The nature, rivers and colours bursting through was insane!!! I would defiantly love to go back a stay a few nights there.

Travelling on, we finally made it to Montenegro and drove through to a place called Kotor Bay. This stunning location is full of tiny beautiful towns including the outstanding Kotor old town.

We stayed in a villa opposite the old town which gave us the most beautiful views. My holiday here was a dream come true. The are so many things that I could say about this place and I would be back there every year if I could to explore it even more.

One memory I will never forget is going on a boat trip and the boat breaking down and my dad having to help the skipper anchor the boat so it didn't drift away. It was very funny watching him while me and mum sat there sun bathing and laughing.

Peacefully sat on the boat until I almost fell off :D

Everything that I saw, ate, DRANK (cocktails) was amazing and I had the most enjoyable time. One of my favourite little towns we visited was called Perast. It's a gorgeous town about a 20 minute drive from Kotor Old town and I fell in love as soon as I stepped out the car. All restaurants are scattered up and down the sea front making it a wonderful place to eat and drink and also there are some beautiful historic building that are breathtaking.

On my final night of being here we found another little town where we found a lovely cocktail bar (YUM)! Next to this bar was a tall standing rock on the seas edge. So me being me went and sat on the rock for some great insta worthy shots!

This trip was beautiful, relaxing and an amazing escape (from the bad english weather). Not to mention getting a nice tan.

Moral of all this I suppose is if you are ever feeling down or got the lockdown blues think back to a time where you where relaxed and enjoying yourself. If you are ever in need to talk to anyone there are many services out there to call and people who you can talk to.

Hope this brings out the summer in you and brightens you up, it definitely did while I was writing it...

Anya :)
